Erika's Baby Shower

Hey Guys,
My good friend, Erika Edmundo, had a baby shower today. If you couldn't tell by all the pink, it's going to be a girl. Her name will be Sofia Mariela, and the due date is October 31st!! Halloween Baby The party had a lot of fun cheesy baby-games, with prizes for the winners. Unfortunately, I didn't have great luck at the games, but we all had a wonderful time. I know Erika will be a great mom

The theme was "Baby-Land" a play on the game "Candy-Land"

We had a raffle to win a prize

The winner of the "Dont say the B word" game. We all started out with three pins and every time one of us said "baby" the person who hear it took away one of our pins

photoshop filters

Hey Guys,

Not a whole lot new and exciting. I'm trying this summer to really push my photoshop skills. Below are examples of my work. I used an image of Megan and her mom from James's prom last spring. I wanted to try to play with some style filter ideas.

The original image with minor adjustments

 First edit: skin retouching

Second edit: I'm going to call it my vintage filter. I was aiming for something the seemed like it was shot on old color film from the 70's

Third edit: I'm calling this filter, News Print. I wanted it to be grainy and look like it's a photo printed in the newspaper

Fourth edit: I'm not sure if I can come up with a name for this one except maybe "hollywood?". It's a basic black and white conversion with a black vignette. I was going for something that you might see in a look-book in the 1950's.

I liked these a lot and I think I might try some more down the road.

Until next time,
Teresa
